Loyalty Points and the Loyalist System

The Loyalist System at BBox Gaming is fairly simple. Citizens will, by default, have no loyalty points accrued to their name. Over time, the loyal citizen could find himself completing actions that the Universal Union would smile upon. In the event this does occur, MPF Officers are obliged to grant the citizen anywhere from one to ten loyalty points. One point would be for something such as performing cleaning duties, where as ten would mean that they have done something truly spectacular, like saving the City Administrator. On the other hand, if a citizen were to perform any kind of anti-civil activity (and be caught) there would be consequences. Depending on the level of the violation, depends on punishment, but the loss of loyalty points is also a common occurance. If a citizen racks up a total of -10 Loyalty Points, they will have their citizenship revoked. This results in amputation.

As a citizen progresses in the eyes of the Union through their loyalty, so too does their ranking under their watchful eye. To show for their actions on the road of the true citizen, the loyalists will often don different levels of armbands, showcasing their importance. Below is a summary of the loyalist tiers, their colour armbands, and what having this particular will mean for the citizen.

Tiers:

Brown Tier: This is the first step to becoming the true citizen. Gaining this tier requires 15 LP (Loyalty Points). Once the number of LP has been reached required for this tier, the citizen is permitted to address an MPF Officer regarding their armband. The Officer is then obliged to present the item to the citizen. Being the first step on the long road to the Universal Union's ideal citizen, not much changes with this rank, other than the slightly higher grade ration packet and degree of respect from the MPF. When we say a degree of respect, we mean that they will believe your view over that of a normal citizen, if there is no evidence. Nothing else. The ration packet they receive will give more token reward, as well as higher grade supplements.

Green Tier: To gain this armband, the citizen must obtain 25 LP. Along with the benefits of the Brown Tier, they will also gain a 10% discount on all products sold at all licensed stores. This includes shipments of CWU goods, as well as singular items from salesmen. These citizens should be treated with a higher degree of respect, though not to the point they are anything of real value. They have't proven themselves enough just yet.

Blue Tier: To gain this armband, citizens must gain 35 LP. This is where things really start to get interesting. The Union are starting to take notice of this citizen's actions, starting to expect great things from them. You're doing well in their eyes. On the third floor of the Terminal Hotel, is designated Loyalist Housing. When you reach this stage of loyalty, you are allowed to request access to one of these apartments for permanent use. These rooms are better furnished, with running heating and electricity, as well as luxury items such as kettles, comfortable mattresses and a television which broadcasts on UU propaganda. You are recognised by the MPF as higher than the average citizen, and are now addressed with respect; required to be addressed as 'Sir' or 'Ma'am'. This citizen also gains a 20% discount on all products sold by shop-keepers and the CWU around the city.

Red Tier: To gain this armband, citizens must gain a total of 50 LP. They gain all the benefits of the citizens below, and are this point recognised as a true citizen. They have outdone themselves in the eye of the Union, and will be rewarded for their actions. At this point, the citizen can request a place amongst any of the valid sectors within the city. This includes the MPF, the CWU, the Clinic and the Civil Administration Senate. They will then be interviewed by the City Administrator himself, and the place will be determined. The citizen gains a final upgrade in ration packets, and will receive the equivalent supplements to that of the MPF. High grade, nutritious and filling. They will gain a final 25% discount on all products across the city, and are addressed with the utmost respect by all MPF and others.

White Tier: Citizens must gain 75 LP for this final tier. Citizens are granted a white armband for this tier, as well as a Citizenship Medal or CM for their actions. This is granted by the City Administrator himself at a prize giving ceremony, in which a celebration will be held for that particular citizen's efforts toward the Union machine. This citizen may request an MPF escort to wherever he may go, and they may also request an audience with the City Administrator for any of their problems, or simply for a chat. Neither parties are obliged to agree, though if they are to decline, they must do so with respect. If you reach this rank, you are considered to be the embodiment of what the Universal Union aim to achieve. Well done, citizen.

Loyalist System Empty Re: Loyalist System

I like this system, it already makes me want to please the Union  cheers , but the grind for loyalist points is enormous, for example, the higuest amount of loyalist points you can get is by giving away an secret base location with alot of anti-citizens, which will not happen almost at all, since those are limited, then the fastest way to get them would be to save the life of an city administrator staff member, or assisting in the capture of an rogue MPF unit, and you would only get five points, for doing one of these actions, which at least the city administrator staff member should show some more gratitude, i mean how often would an citizen even do this, if he had the chance even Question  Just to get the tier of armband required to start being treated better, in the eyes of units would require 35 LP points  affraid . I don't know, it just feels like an massive grind, i don't even believe any normal player, even if hardcore loyalist can get to red tier or even blue tier in weeks irl, and thats if you don't get killed, but thats just my opinion. Shocked

You have to take into account, your goal should not be to achieve Loyalist ranks within RP. It should be to develop your character and have some fun doing so. The loyalist system is purposefully a grind, because its a long process ICly.
